We’re almost half way through January which is usually when the gym starts to get back to normal and I no longer have to arrive 45 minutes before the start of an aerobics class to get a spot. Change is hard – no question, but, there are things you can do to ensure your success. I wrote a lengthy post over at SheTeam about how to best insure that when you do attempt to change you acknowledge the reality of the situation and take a kinder approach to your self as you navigate your new way of operating. The desire to do things differently (i.e. make a change) is genuine and in order for you to live your best life you need to pay attention to those desires and find a way to honour them. That said, I think we as humans are far to ignorant when it comes to the inner workings of our brains and bodies with respect to the role they play in our valiant efforts to make change in our life.
Free will is truly an amazing gift we have as humans, but, we can’t solely rely on it. Here’s some resources that have given me a greater understanding of all my working parts. Please feel free to send in your comments on what has worked for you.
